Sontem is one of the two main antagonists of my theoretical Paper Mario×B3313 fangame.
Appearance
Sontem is a white anthropomorphic cat who looks like a stuffed animal. She has two black buttons for eyes. She has two tails - a white one and a smaller black tail that looks as if it was carved from coal.
She wears a blue vest over an off-white long-sleeved shirt, red pants, and brown boots. Dirty strips of cloth have been tied around her arms to keep stuffing from falling out and to make her more visible.
Personality
Sontem started out as a representation of love, though over time it has been twisted into a new form. She views everyone around her as actors on a stage, believing herself to be the only 'true' person; this does not bother her, however, as she thinks she is putting on an act as well.
She acts as she wishes, only taking commands and guidance from her counterpart Lufian. Sontem excels in playing the role of the fool and leaving the consequences of her actions for others to deal with.
Lore
Sontem is one of the few beings native to the Eternal Kingdom who has existed for more than a few years, having been around since the beginning as one of the kingdom's archivists. For centuries she and her counterpart Lufian watched and catalogued the lives of those in other dimensions, though they never knew why this needed to be done - just that it had to be.
Eventually, however, Lufian began to change. Sontem watched as her counterpart became more and more enamored with the lives of those outside the Eternal Kingdom. She became interested - what exactly did he see in these stories? - and, as he delved deeper into trying to become 'real', she began wondering if there was something she was missing.. As she listened more and more to Lufian's ramblings, she began to understand - or at least she thought she did.
Some time after this, she wandered off for the first time into the more chaotic part of the Eternal Kingdom. The path she took led her to the core of the world, where she gave up her soul; in return, she became what she believed was the ideal person. Whether or not she actually gained anything is unknown.
Soon after she returned home, she joined Lufian in his goal to use the power of the Eternal Kingdom's core to collapse all worlds into one and create a perfect world, becoming his right-paw man.
