Chambray

Chambray (often nicknamed Cham or Ray) is a Lightner - specifically, a Monster. (There's not much to put here yet since they're a TTRPG character... Maybe...)

Appearance

Chambray is a humanoid monster with pastel cream skin. They have two sets of wings - one on their head and one on their hips - and have white feathers on both these wings and their head. The feathers on their head look similar to hair. They also have white eyes with black sclera.

Chambray typically wears a dull green beanie and a brown jacket, along with dark-colored clothing.

In Dark Worlds, Chambray's white feathers turn black (though their wings retain white tips), and their skin becomes more vibrant. Their beanie transforms into a blue pom-pom hat, their jacket turns into a blue capelet, and their outfit is replaced. They instead wear a white long-sleeved shirt with a glittery purple-blue vest, a blue skirt, and blue sneakers.

Personality

Chambray is lonely. They seem intimidating and don't often go out of their way to talk to people, but they yearn for company; they just don't know how to make friends and are quite awkward. Despite it all, they don't have low self-esteem; they instead have fooled themselves into thinking they enjoy being alone.

When with people they consider friends, Chambray becomes more outgoing, though they tend to put others' interests before their own (unless someone asks them about their interests).

They are very interested in space and especially satellites; their other interests include music (they used to want to be a singer), writing, and photography, though they're an amateur at the latter two.
