Dappled moonlight illuminates a path in the woods, only to be cast in artificial light from a car, then shadow.

Pill Bottle checks the rear-view mirror, looking at their passengers. Flower Pot is sleeping in the shotgun seat, while Carroty Cake and Aquarilamp sit in the back with Major between them; Glitter Bomb is sleeping on the car floor.

"...I-It's a nice night out, isn't it?" Major half-mumbles something, unsure of what to say. They fidget with their feet, looking outside through the windshield.

Pill Bottle shrugs. "I guess? I haven't been up this early for a while." They check their watch - it's only 7 AM. They look back at the road, slowly driving along.

"Same here," Carroty Cake says, chiming in. "I think I prefer the daytime much better."

Aquarilamp bubbles, saying something. Pill Bottle raises an eyebrow and looks back at him. "Eh?"

Major pipes up again. "Oh, he doesn't.. He can't speak English. Or maybe he chooses not to, but- uh, don't worry about it too much, I guess."

Pill Bottle nods, focusing back on the road. "That's fine. Better I know now than later." They open the glove box, fishing around before pulling out a carefully-folded map, and glance over to Flower Pot. "Of course he's asleep.. I'm going to stop the car for a minute."

The car comes to a stop, and Pill Bottle opens their car door, unbuckling their seat belt and stepping outside. The air is cold and dry, and other than the lights from the car and the dull shine of the moon, the world is completely dark.

Aquarilamp hops out of the car, followed by Major. He looks around, hopping a few times, as if trying to wake himself up; Major copies him, though more clumsily.

Carroty Cake nudges Glitter Bomb awake. "Hey, we're stopping for a moment. We'll probably be at.. uhhh, what was it called?" He looks over Pill Bottle, who shrugs. "We'll be at our destination soon enough!"

Glitter Bomb yawns, spinning her propeller. She hovers out of the car, rising into the sky. "Huh.. I don't see anythingsies, it's too dark out here!" She floats back down, resting on top of Pill Bottle's cap. "Can I see the map?"

"Sure," Pill Bottle says, unfolding it. They've drawn a path on it with green marker, but it otherwise looks untouched. They move it closer to the car so that it's illuminated.

Flower Pot looks up. "Oh, are we there?" He climbs out of the car through the driver's seat, peeking at the map as well.

"Close but no cigar," Pill Bottle replies. They study the map, squinting to see the details.

A light shines through from behind the paper, illuminating the creases and folds. Pill Bottle raises it, looking at Aquarilamp, who's turned his light on. "Thanks," they say after a moment, lowering the map.

"Hm.. We're just half an hour away, I think," Flower Pot muses. "Potentially more if you drive faster, but.." He glances over to Major, who sheepishly waves with their leg. He smiles back at them, as if trying to say things were fine without speaking.

Glitter Bomb looks back over to the car. "So, like, should we get back in and drive? I wanna get internet access again.. I mean, I'd like to get to the show too, you know?" She flies over, setting herself down next to the driver's seat.

"It IS kinda creepy out here," Carroty Cake mumbles. "I don't want to stay out here any longer than we have to.." He inches back towards the car, then quickly slips back into his seat before anyone can stop him.

Major follows. "I hope that we aren't, uh, causing any problems for you, Pill Bottle. ..Thanks for picking us all up yesterday."

Pill Bottle sits down on the ground and begins folding the map back up. "No problem. I still think it's odd that I ran into all of you while on my way here, but.." They trail off, focusing on not ripping the map.

The car alarm suddenly goes off. Pill Bottle jolts up, undoing any progress they had on folding the map. They whip around, staring at Glitter Bomb, who's sitting in the driver's seat. "What did you do."

"I just lightly touched your keys, sorry!" Glitter Bomb looks away and whistles a short tune, trying to seem innocent.

Pill Bottle stares at her for another moment, then slowly turns back around without a word, furrowing their brows. They look over to Aquarilamp, noticing that Major has somehow gotten stuck in a tree - they probably got too startled - and that Aquarilamp is jumping up in an attempt to reach them. One person should be enough to help, Pill Bottle figures, so they don't go to help.

Instead, they watch as Carroty Cake runs over to help, shaking the tree. Major falls out and onto Carroty, then tumbles onto the ground. "Ow!! Um- thanks, uh..."

"Carroty! Er, my name's Carroty Cake. Are you alright?" He offers a paw to Major, shaking their foot as if they were shaking hands.

"I think so.." Major sits up in a daze. Aquarilamp crouches down next to them, illuminating their body and surroundings - thankfully, they just landed in a pile of moss and leaves.

Flower Pot walks over, holding a box of bandages, and applies one to Major's knee. He smiles, patting them on the head, then walks back to the car.

"..Weird," Major mutters. "Thanks..!"

Pill Bottle finishes folding the map, finally, and looks down at it. "..Ah." They folded it into a cube somehow - it will have to suffice, though, as they're starting to feel a little uneasy. They toss it in the glove box, getting in the newly vacated driver's seat.

Everyone else moves back into their positions in the car, though Aquarilamp takes a moment to collect some leaves and put them in the trunk first. Pill Bottle just lets it happen.

"Let's go," Pill Bottle says.
